Floods in QLD Australia

オーストラリア北東部クイーンズランド州を襲った大規模な洪水は１２日、
州都ブリスベーンの中心地にも浸水被害をもたらし、
数千人が避難を余儀なくされるなど被害が拡大している。
フランスとドイツを合わせたほどの面積が冠水している今回の洪水では、
これまでに１４人が死亡しており、９０人以上が行方不明となっている。

私は10年ほど前に、今洪水の被害にあるオーストラリアのクイーンズランド州のブリスベンに

数か月滞在していたことがあり親しみのある街です。

オーストラリアで三番目の街で、中央にブリスベン川が流れていて、きれいな街でした。

その街に洪水が起ころうとは、想像すらできなかったです。

I was in Brisbane at QLD Australia for some months around 10years ago, where has been affected by the recent floods. I like Brisbane very much. It is the 3rd biggest city in Australia and beautiful city, which has Brisbane river in the city. Of course, I had never thought it the disaster happed.
